Looks like a new sink as well. Did you remove the stove and now just have an oven?

Me too

I did a similar upgrade on the kitchen counters in my 67 Overlander. I replaced the whole countertop that had sharp corners with new plywood with radiused corners, glued on white formica and trimmed it out with aluminum like yours. I bought mine from VTS but it is made by the same company as yours. The 3/4" is perfect for 23/32" plywood plus 1/32" formica. A huge improvement.

Upgrades

Also replaced the shallow double sinks with a large single sink and replaced the faucet.

Yes, bigger and deeper sink, far more usable. I'm just building a wooden cutting board as a dual purpose cutting board and cover extending counter space to go over the sink.

Pulled out the combined stove cook top with a high end electric oven. We use butane portable gas stoves as the cook top now.

As an FYI, the counter is epoxy covered copper, 100% custom.

Did the bathroom and entertainment counter

One day I'll do a full write up. Big difference in the interior look now.

Good job

Very Pretty! One of my favorite things about Airstreams is that everyone makes it their own.

How did you make those beautiful counter tops. The copper side. I get the epoxy.

Did you hammer it out? Looks great.

The copper is etched or treated. I purchased the thin 36 gauge sheets from a company called Colorcopper

http://www.colorcopper.com/color-cop...ight-36-gauge/

This is not a project I suggest for everyone as working with the copper is tough and expensive if you make a mistake. We do love the results though. While not perfect we are usually the only ones to notice the imperfections.

Thanks. As noted, one day I'll do a full write up and post the pics all the way through the process

Question: You felt the 36 gauge vs. the 24 gauge was sufficient for the use?

Thanks,

Yep, that's what the color copper company said. It's under 1/8" of epoxy. Pretty bullet proof.

I'd have loved to use the 24 gauge AND epoxy but that would have tripled the cost of the copper sheet.

Sorry. I read the full post. The trim I’m looking for is the one on the sides of the bath sink.

I can’t find that anywhere.

If you are talking about the side and rear trim (not front) that comes direct from an airstream dealer. I don't have the part number and it took our local dealer 2 attempts to order me the right trim. Even then it didn't arrive till 1.5 months after I finished this project. I ended up using a different trim on the kitchen counter. It does not match the "stock" trim.

Good luck sourcing it.
