Stolen steps

I recently had our steps on our new 19' Flying Cloud stolen while in storage. Somebody simply unscrewed them and removed them. They are the new single step Thule steps. Not sure why they were taken but based on replacement value they are expensive. Not sure how to secure steps to prevent theft. Airstream also does not have in inventory. Any suggestions on replacement?

That is something I've never heard of before. Sounds like your storage isn't that secure. At this point I'd investigate gps tracking for your trailer.
