Our 26U has a squeek there too! And the table bases have been cut down to 29" which makes them so much more user friendly. Great decision. BTW, we LOVE our 26U with the rear queen bed. It is a spectacular design and lay out.

Also had the squeak and the factory fixed it. Tech said the fix was to drop the pans underneath and caulk between the frame and the floor. It worked. No more squeak.

There's much more usable storage in the twin version over the queen.
I still think it's got more plusses than minuses.

Mollysdad, there is storage under the front seat just in front of the front outside storage bin. It is quite narrow and I haven't used it for storing anything yet. I also haven't put anything in the front door side storage behind the shoe cubby mainly due to inaccessibility but thinking we will use it for paper towel & TP storage.

We rarely use both tables so I sometimes use that narrow storage for the table pole.

Like the idea of lowering the table height. Noticed that the table pole is beveled in slightly where it goes into the table top. Did you take it apart at its base to cut it down? I’m thinking the pole will not fit into the table top if I take the easy route and cut the top end.

We went to Colonial in NJ two weeks ago and had them cut out table legs down from 32" to 29". This made a world of difference and we love the new height. I cannot understand the original height of 32" as we measured other Airstream trailers on the Colonial lot and they were all at 29" to the bottom of the table. Nevertheless, we recommend the height of 29" cut from the bottom of the table legs in the 26U.

Thanks, we have a scheduled stop for maintenance this spring so will get it done. That table height has always been a bit annoying...must have been designed by someone over six feet tall!

We have a 2016 26U, like it very much. Great for relaxing and watching TV, much more comfortable then bench seats.

Progressive Dynamics PD4655V converter/charger AND Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C. (EMS-HW50C for 50 amp RVs)

I installed both of those in my FC 23FB before its very first camping trip.

Are these things the dealer can install or I need to find 3rd party installers

A dealer would be fully capable of installing them. I installed mine myself, and I am a retired Pharmacist, not an electrician.

The dealer installed mine. Had them do it when I bought it before I picked it up.

Thanks for your help! Next question. Will the factory mattress be firm enough to support my 240lbs, or should I get a topper or just go full latex

We have the factory mattress and it supports my 240 lb. bod just fine. It’s a queen and is actually a bit too firm for my comfort, so we added a Costco memory foam topper. It’s now more comfy than our home bed.

From the other posters, swapping out the fridge fan to a quieter one is a good mod too. Anyone know a part no

I know this may not be possible or popular, but has anyone removed the bulkhead cabinet in the queen bedroom?

Owner of a 2018 Flying Cloud 26 RB Twin here.

Has anyone else experienced water leaking out from the toilet area into the hallway? It’s fresh water, so possibly from the supply side?

It leaks intermittently, but the dealership hasn’t been able to find or replicate the problem.

Mine had a small amount in the bedroom right under the small access panel. I noticed a sheen on the floor. I hadn't used the shower or sink. The dealer worked on it and I haven't had a problem lately. I guess they fill the toilet bowl then flush and see if anything drips. The 26 U uses an electric toilet because the toilet is behind the rear axles but the black tank is in front of the axles. The pipe actually makes SIX 90 degree bends before reaching the tank, some go UP over the wheel well. IMO, it's a disaster in the making and access is difficult. I'm terrified about a clog.

Yes...agree ...my mod on a 2017 FC23FB...two quiet fans in “series” for less air resistance (convection) when fans not running....has worked well. Also both uses less Ah than original one fan.Click image for larger version

Agree it is not a desirable design, am also terrified of a clog or issue, and would have preferred the old-fashioned foot flush. But I am amused that you take any and every opportunity to mention the "SIX 90 degree bends"
