Absolutely would never let a pet of any sort ride in the trailer unattended. Our pack of 4 dogs rides in pairs in crates in the back seat of our TV or secured via seat belt and harness. No air conditioning and too much noise and bumping around in the AS. They sleep most of the way on the interstate highways and will wake up when I slow down in city traffic. One has a very distinct " are we there yet" vocalization when we slow down. He's the one that likes travel the least, but he puts up with it.
