Protecting your Leather

Hello everyone! (first post!)

We're just starting to enjoy our (new to us) 2016 International Serenity 25RB. We love the interior and can't believe how soft and supple the leather seating is. Unfortunately we're afraid to let our dog in the camper... but he's part of the family and we'll need to let him in sooner or later! Does anyone have any suggestions for protecting them? We've tried covering them with quilts - tucking them in etc. but the leather is so supple they slide all over the place (especially when you try to get into the dinette).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the Airstream, Air Forums .
Your material is not leather but a durable synthetic material known by most as Ultraleather. We have a puppy and just have a pad/blanket that she lays on and she is quite agile and she jumps up and curls up on the blanket. We have had no cleaning problems...just a mild soap and warm water followed by a clean rinse.
This link might help; https://www.crownseating.com/ultraleather.html

As far as cushions moving, that can partly be solved by using a light under-pad,the waffle rubber kind see link.

I have also modified the seating in the dinette by adding a layer of 3/8 inch plywood extended aprox. 4" beyond(laid across the entire surface) and that extra supports you and the cushions from moving off. This negates the ability for make the dinette into a bed, but we are a couple trailer.
I worked for a large hotel (now retired) , we recovered large chairs for this lounge in Ultraleather and the only noticeable wear was on the piping otherwise they where in very good shape after 5 plus years and that's commercial use.
