I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This rare Airstream bunk model is the BEST trailer for families traveling with younger children or grandparents wanting to take their grandkids on adventures. We lived in this trailer full-time for 14 months (chronicled at
www.TakeThatExit.com) and it was HOME to our family of four. It's been meticulously cared for and maintained. It can sleep up to 7 with the dinette folding into bed.
Before we set out on our full-time adventure we added a TONS OF EXTRAS to this trailer. It has everything you could possibly need for safe, comfortable travel.
* 4 brand new tires - added just last summer. Only have 700 miles on them! $800 value
* Tire monitoring system for all 4 tires - inside monitor to watch tire pressure on the road
* Back-up camera
* 160 watt Zamp solar panel with monitor installed inside
* Blue Ox Stabilizer hitch installed by Airstream

* Optional add on - Airstream branded rock guards for truck ($300 extra)
* SimpleHuman 3-bottle soap dispenser in shower, 2-bottle dispenser near bathroom sink
Last summer, before our 2-year warranty was up, we had the following things replaced as good measure
*Brand new Queen size mattress
*New Converter
*New TV in main area
*Brand new batteries from Costco
*New curtains and shades
*New power cord (replaced in early 2016)
*Tightened all cabinets and the table (which is notorious for getting loose over time) - now they are like new.
It also came from the factory with these wonderful extra features ::
*Full awning package - you have a shade over every window!
*Second air conditioning unit - run them both and it cools right down! Plus this year was the first year with the ducted air - so nothing hanging in the trailer.
*Both the oven and the microwave - they both come in handy!
*Macerator toilet - it's awesome and can handle anything
*Three TVs - one by bunks, one by dining room and one in queen bedroom
*We have all the original bedding and pillows. Never used! It would be just like it came off the lot!
The general condition is exceptional. It's been well cleaned and cared for. It does have a horizontal dent near top back where it got too close to a gutter when backing into driveway. The dent does not leak or have any impact on structure - and thanks to being "pulled out" is barely visible. Look at photos for this.
