2005 Airstream Safari 30 - Florida

Title: 2005 Airstream Safari 30 - Florida
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

I am selling a coveted 2005 Airstream Safari 30BH “Bunkhouse”, the Airstream that has 2 separate family sleeping spaces: a queen bed in the front, and bunkbeds in the back. If you are reading this ad, you very well may know about how special the Bunkhouse is. In 2005 and 2006, Airstream produced a total of 78 of these coaches. Last year, Airstream returned to this floor plan: the Flying Cloud 30BH. The price for this new Airstream: over $100K.
Our Airstream was purchased from the original owners in 2016. I purchased it, and traveled to pick it up, in West Texas; the owner kept it in a covered warehouse for its entire life. This Airstream is in GREAT condition for its age. The 2005 Safari Bunkhouses had one major flaw. The front facing exterior compartment cracked in the corners, which caused water intrusion when driving down the road in the rain. We completely removed this front compartment and had an Airstream authorized dealer replace the front panel to return it to a water tight condition (If you don’t buy this one, please check any bunkhouse for interior water damage stemming from these cracks; they ALL have them). The exterior work cost between $3,500 and $5,000. In addition, we added two extra Fantastic Fans to the front and rear sleeping areas, and put the black cowls on the exterior. Finally, we replaced the tires in 2016 with new Maxxis trailer tires.
We absolutely love this Airstream, but don’t have the time to use it, and don’t have the ability to store it indoors, which the beautiful travel trailer deserves. Our kids are heavily invested in travel soccer, so our true camping weekends are limited. Our loss is your gain. Pictures are attached, and I am happy to discuss specifics on the condition of the coach to any potential buyer. The first $40K owns it, which covers my purchase and the repairs and upgrades I made to it over the past year and a half.
If interested, please call Tommy: 919-609-8555. The trailer is located in Tallahassee, FL.
