1968 Airstream Ambassador 28 - Nevada
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Selling an Airstream 28 Foot Aluminum Travel Trailer RV manufactured in
1968, which is one of Airstreams largest and most comfortable RVs the company made. Restoration project. Needs tires and wheels. There is light dents to the body, and it could do with a good polish, but overall this has one of the best exteriors I have seen on an aluminum trailer.
The interior is in reasonable shape. The front of the trailer is very open, no benches or table, providing space that can be used restored with the classic benches and table, used for another bed, put in extra cabinets for more storage or even as custom seating area. All kitchen appliances are intact, but could use a good cleaning.
The bathroom is the biggest issue in getting this beauty on the road again. The person I purchased it from was going to restore the trailer and decided to start with the bathroom and the work was never completed. Nevada title in hand. Located in Pahrump Nevada.
This isn't a perfect trailer, but that condition is also reflected in the price as a fully restored trailer like this would be closer to $20,000. See the pictures for more details and if anyone would like more images, send an email and I'll get them to you ASAP.
