1964 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Utah

Title: 1964 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Utah
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

1964 Tradewind, 24'. International model. That means it is loaded with all Airstream had available, was almost twice the price when new and was marketed towards serious enthusiasts who intended to do caravan trips into remote areas.

This is the last year of the door inside a door.. It is also the last year for Jalousie style windows (slatted glass) for most models. Both classic features of an era of travel trailers that were the coolest!

The body is one of the best you could hope to find. Street side is virtually flawless! One small dent on the upper curb side and one small crease near the door, both visible in one of the pics. Paintless dent guys can pull the upper one and put a cool vintage aluminum badge over the other!

Interior is still in its original layout and design. I have tried to access as much of the sub-floor as possible in search of rot. I have found only one soft spot at the entry door. The major advantage of this models layout is, the dinette up front and the fact that you dont have to convert your seating area into a bed every night. there is always a bed waiting for you.. Original cabinets are all present and excellent. No de-lamination problems. Windows work.. and there are lots of them! It seals up well, I have seen no leaks when its raining. Original A/C is claimed to work... as are the other appliances.. This is the claim from the old timer I bought it from. He used it as a guest home on his property and for some reason removed the bathroom sink and toilet.. luckily he didn't toss them. They need to be re-installed. Lots of recent work (this year), plumbing, roof vents, water pump, battery, new rims, tires and hub caps and more.

Please serious buyers who are ready to buy, have available funds and wife approval (where applicable), call for more info. Located in Murray. Thanks. Jason
