Title:
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This is a '55 Imperial Mansion I found in the woods, gutted, and started renovating for use as a commercial storefront. I gutted it to the shell and added a storefront door where there was a large broken window, professional ceiling light fixtures, and a new plywood floor and paneling. It is also wired with switches and outlets. New tires were fitted in 2013 for 1 trip of 30 miles.
Though I did use it for my nursery operation for 2 years, I did not finish the renovation, and all materials can easily be zipped out with a hex driver. I reinforced the chassis with 2x6 for the subfloor, and that is the extent of any structural work. The shell is in very good shape for the enthusiast to renovate or continue commercial use.
There is mild glass damage where a few panes will need replacement, and since I did not use the doors they will need to be worked on. I didn't receive a title, but it does have the original serial number written in two spots by the manufacturer on the inside of the shell. This is the 43 ft model.
Asking 12,500 or best offer. Please feel free to send any questions.
