We had the same problem as well! We have continued to tighten the bolt on the clamps. We hope we have it to the point where it will stay while traveling (our biggest problem as we don't keep a lot on top of the table anyway), but will release to let down when necessary. We don't know that it's 100% yet, but has helped. Obviously there has been a problem because 2016 has a switch that raises and lowers it from my understanding.

Thanks for the response - Will try that for now and hopefully that will help it stay up during our trip to Bar Harbor. Will be taking her in for service / 3P hitch install after that so will definitely add it to the list.

She is BEAUTIFUL Joe, just stunning. I love the wood & counter top combo.

Yes, the 2016 Classic does have a power dinette table. It appears to be that same mechanism that is used on the Land Yacht. We like this upgrade as it allows us to change the height at will to whatever works best for the task at hand (eating, computer usage, etc.). We have not pulled enough yet to confirm that it stays put during travel, but we have no reason to suspect that it won't stay put.

Laura & Tom, I finally got my fixed, by making the adjustment each time I moved. My Parents table still slowly retracts, but, we are working on it. My big issue with the table was I hit my knee-cap on the other stabilizing leg that folds up. Only one time and I figured out real fast how to fix that issue. All other issues have been minor.

So, northern Adirondack Cherry from Penna ???? Did I get that right. Wonder how they manage that one. Maybe they start the Cherry tree in Upstate NY and then transplant it to Penna until it's big enough ???

LOL, and I just thought it was me that had that issue. I know, it sure hurt for a while and left a big bruise on my knee-cap. Your post made me feel better and I used Velcro as well to correct that issue.

Always like to post here as in early 2014, when I ordered my Serenity, the new Classic was not even announced.

But, as I was coming out of a Moho with a Select Number mattress where I could dial in what I liked, I had to find an answer for the new AS. What I have found that works, is, on top of the standard memory foam in my Serenity, I have a four inch feather bed. This seems about as comfortable as anything I have tried, has the advantage of being able to push the feathers around a bit to have it a bit thicker in one spot or another.

The cost is slightly less than memory foam, and IMO is cooler in summer, warmer in winter than foam.

Graysailer: I see that you currently on a 2015 30ft flying cloud. Did you trade your current unit? I also traded my 2015 30 ft flying cloud for a 2016 classic that is set to come offline next week. I'm very excited!

Sjcjr. Yes I did. I really like my Cloud and feel guilty for giving her up so fast but the Classic just swept me away. I was really hesitant about the power awning so I called Zip Dee and they reassured me that they have had no problems with the power awning and they do provide a means for manually using the awning just in case. Delivery expected somtime in early September.

graysailor and Sjcjr - We ordered a 2016 Classic this week as well. Was due Oct 21st but AS is pushing back production 2 to 3 weeks to address some quality issues; ours is now due out Nov 16th. We did not want the power awning; most do have it, but we wanted to keep that simple. If it did malfunction, it would no doubt be when a storm was coming or it was time to leave.
