Has anyone purchased a replacement bed from Airstream?

Had to replace the Airstream stock mattress because it absolutely sucks. Though they are not inexpensive I sleep so much better. Look at http://www.rockymountainmattress.com/airstream-mattress

OMG, what a difference a new mattress makes! Just purchased new queen mattress for 2013 bunk model from mattressinsider.com. Have never slept better. They are so easy to deal with and are really reasonable on price. We bought the 8" luxury cool max (only $20.00 extra for custom orders), custom sheets and custom mattress encasement for around $700.00. We received all in less than 2 weeks!! They have a link on their website to request your bedding schematics from airstream (took them longer to get the drawings to me than to order and receive the mattress. Although, if you have a 13' or 14' bunk then mattress insider already has the drawings because I sent them in for the front queen and the upper bunk (I do have lower bunk that were sent later).

We just received our replacement mattresses from mattressinsider on Tuesday. They were awesome to deal with and would do it again in a heart beat. We replaced both of our twins for less than $700 and got them in a couple days. We are heading out tomorrow for the weekend and will sleep on them for the first time. Just laying on them in the driveway is much more comfortable than stock. I laid the old mattress on the new one and they are a perfect match.

We got a Sleep Number RV Queen Radius edge from Camping World on sale last year, her and I adjust our own individual firmness. Fits the Airstream queen platform perfectly. We have slept on its about 100 nights, incredible comfort.

Same as Doug! Do not even think about buying a mattress from Airstream.

Bought two memory foam twins from Amazon for $125 each. Had a local foam shop cut them down to fit the Queen platform. What a great sleep, and we each have our own mattress so there is no movement when one changes position. As comfortable as our Tempur pedic.
