Just had to put this to the front burner and ask the question, has anyone else ever put a "Lift Kit" on an Airstream? Sorry if this is a member, but some of the ads I see on ebay actually make me shake my head in dis-belief. This one says, and this is straight from his ad, "Please keep in mind you could pay up to 60 to 80 thousand dollars on this camper brand new, so 15 grand is not bad.
Really???? I think, and I could be wrong, that people buy and Airstream or meet someone who has one, looks at a BRAND NEW one on the net, and then thinks, "hey, I have an Airstream, so it has to be worth a million, right?",lol.

That's the second time it's been listed - don't think they got any action the first time.

I have to say I looked at this ad. The price was way out of my budget range... (easily enough since the budget really consists of @ $20 right now) ...But I was curious to see what layout it was and what would make it worth 15K plus. I saw nothing that would make it worth more than any of the other trailers I've been looking at in the 6K range. In fact, I thought it would be a lot less since the interior paint has got to be the worst paint scheme I have ever seen. ... on anything ..... in my entire life. (and I've seen a whole lot of bad paint jobs...)

I've got it tagged in my watch list...just to see if it ever does sell.

Oh well...on with the search!
