R.I.P. Mark Rands
Many of you in the Denver area know Mark - after leaving the Balloon Fiesta National Rally last week, he passed away on his way to see friends in Texas. Mark loved Airstreams - he owned 10 of them - most recently purchased 2 last month - and he loved balloons. He would send me these incredible thank you notes with his balloon registration and he was always the most cheerful guy. When we were parking Airstreams for the fiesta he was hanging out the window of his motorhome cheering us on with a water bottle in his hand to give to us on a hot Sept morning. He was doing what he loved when he passed away - Airstreams and balloons - we will surely miss him.
