Hey! Did you know...

That the trailer is wider than the truck. OMG!

We picked her up today. Hottest day in Little Rock this year.

Just curious. Did you buy her at Crain RV? If so how was your experience with the sale?

Yes. Crain. Things went pretty well for us. The guys in the back doing the make ready were very helpful.

So lovely. Have fun. We just had to cancel out labor day getaway due to teething kids.

Is it a 27FB? Nice rig and a lovely camp site.

Suggestion.

To protect the awning from possible rain damage, it's wise to keep one end lower than the other end, so that the rain easily runs off, instead of pooling.

Enough pooling and bingo, damage will happen to the awning arms, and sometimes the shell as well.

Andy

Thanks Andy,

We had a little rain this morning and I tried that. Ran right off the end.

All together we had a pretty successful first weekend.

Sounds like you may be from Little Rock. You may already know, but the local WBCCI chapter is having a rally at the NLR RV park the weekend of Sept 14. Since we only live a few blocks away we are not camping. We will just hang out a bit. If you want to meet some fellow Airstreamers you could stop by (we are fairly new ourselves).

I haven't eaten at Rod's in several years, but that use to be some great pizza. Maybe it still is? It's just too hard to pick Rod's over McClards.

Congrats on the new rig! I bet you are so excited and can't stop looking at it. I remember when we picked ours up. It was 116 degrees at Toscano RV in Los Banos, CA.

Rod's is still as good as always. The Godmother pizza is our favorite.

We wish slimhawg many great adventures with the new Airstream. There are some really nice areas to visit in state.

I think Patty Ann and the kids still operate the restaurant. Great food.
