I don't think it works well for a backup camera as there is a noticeable delay with the live preview, you can see it in YouTube videos. I just wanted to mention it before you drop the money for it, the delay may be less with the Hero 4.

Before y'all get into a debate on "Why?"--can I ask a silly question? I mean other than that one. Does a GoPro or similar camera broadcast life video? I mean, could I use it as a live wireless backup camera when I have the need?

I'm sure it has been done, but it would be interesting to see video of the inside of the Airstream while being towed. Before new axles and afterwards.
