Talking This is what I inherited from the PO(s)

Let's keep this light and entertaining, no matter how disgusting, dangerous or ridiculous the issues maybe. No insults to previous owners intended.
I'll start:
Torque on the ball hitch to pull an 8000 pound trailer: ZERO
But please note the safety measurement on the nut and thread

I wouldn't worry about that too much, it'll be an easy fix with a cutting torch, a new hitch ball, and a torque wrench.

Hmmm... so is that a dead blow hammer doing that or did the PO(s) perhaps back up an incline while having the hitch in?

New nut and chase threads on ball. Buy a new ball and use the old one as a spare.

I have enough balls already and it is not worth the shipping to ship something that heavy but thanks for the offer.
