I've had it with snow this year too. We had over 2" on the ground Valentine's Day morning. It was almost 24 hours before it cleared ! Then it was only nice for a few weeks & now it has rained on & off for the past two days. This cabin fever is getting to me !! When it stops raining we're going to have to get through this week only in the high 60's & low 70's. I'll have to wash the pick-up again. Oh my!!! ...can you feel the pain??
I'm sorry but I just couldn't resist, 22 yrs. ago moved to Texas from New Eng. (grew up there) & just 'don't do winters' any more. I'm sure the weather will break & while it's 110 in the shade here you'll have the good 'stuff' while we suffer.....what goes around, comes around.

I live about 10-12 miles from Allen. I was driving my Convertible all weekend in a light jacket at most with the top off.

What you consider weather needing a light jacket, I consider shorts weather....when I was in California a bit ago, it was 60 degrees out. When I got on the plane to go out there it was below zero....the folks in California thought I was nuts.....
As for the snow....I feel for you all...we got a dusting.....that pond next door really helps we folks on the west side of it a fair amount.
No shovel needed yet.....we'll see if that changes by morning.

It's about 1:15 am here, in the middle of Iowa, and I just peaked out the window. There appears to be about 7" of snow on my deck and the Airstream has a pretty white blanket over it. There is still some fine snow coming down.
Every winter I say, "Next year I'm not going to be around here in winter"...Well, here I am.

We got a bit over an inch....still, just when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, old man winter send us all a friendly "up yours" card on last time. I can hear that pudgy little Simpson's character right now....."Haaaa Haaaa!"
Think we've all been there at one point or another, pondering why the heck we stay, with all the cold, snow, then spring, summer and fall come round and it's all good.....for a while....helps forget about days like today!

Just remember the light at the end of the tunnel could be the end of the tunnel or . . . a train!

OK guys and gals. Think warm. Think rally. Instead of wringing your hands, take an active step toward getting out. Register for one or both of the upcoming midwest rally events!!!!
