Best place to purchase interior replacement parts ?

Hello everyone
I'm relatively new to the forums but really appreciate all the information shared.
I have a 2003 Bambi and am looking to update the interior.
Any recommendations on the best place to find curtains; cushions, cabinets, etc are welcome.
Thanks in advance!

Hi gearheart and welcome. I'm kinda new to all things Airstream myself but from what I have read here on the forum it seems that most people make their own. I bet if you google RV interior remodel you would get some hits. Hopefully other will post more information for you soon. Enjoy your new Airstream.

Your best bet is Airstream factory Jackson Centre unless you know an RV dealer that does interior modifications.

The reason being is that RV cabinets are completely differently built than ordinary residential cabinets. My cabinets for example are a Dominoed face frame with interior gables only long enough for mounting slides on; no bottoms, backs or even tops, as my counter tops are the tops of the cabinets.

The materials and building methods used need to be strong enough to resist the effects of the rolling earthquake that towing a trailer is akin too, but light as possible as to not increase trailer weight or ruin weight distribution.

I have stated many times in the past, renovating and building a RV interior is more science than design; and trust me, it's a lot of design.

Cheers
Tony

There are quite a few business that cater to the Airstream community. Among those dealing with curtains and curtain parts are:

http://jpadrapes.com
https://www.airdrapes.com
or Private Message "Silver Threads" on the Airforums, Tammy does a wonderful job if she hasn't fully retired yet.

Professional replacement coushions

I have recently brought a 27 footer and sold my Bambi, but I had made a set of leather seat cushions. They weren't cheap and am looking to sell them. It's the whole set but not the foam insides.
Let me know if your are interested.
I'm asking $2,800 for them. As I said the leather is beautiful and they are professional made by a local upholstery company here in San Jose.
