Around 10 oclock this morning, I saw a charming little Airsteam, maybe a Bambi, with a blue kayak on the tv, pulling off Hwy 63 onto what used to be Nifong Rd in Columbia, MO. They probably wondered who the crazy lady was in the red diesel truck wildily waving at them. Their rig look summer good  ~G

Spotted a 1958 "Silver Streak" (SKY) at Eddies RV in Chickasha, OK. Stopped to check it out. Someone brought it in to be fixed so he can use it as a fishing camper. Body was in great shape, rear window was broken out, two wing windows were also broken. Still had the old frig and oven. Not sure what work the guy is wanting Eddie to do. It was about a 16', not sure how the Silver Streak are measured.

2 older airstreams in Arizona
I saw two older airstreams just off exit 252 on I-17. Turn right past the mcds and go down the road. They are both in need of TLC.

Airstreams Near Yosemite
We spotted one yesterday at a campground in El Portal - late model, about 22 feet.
Later on the way home there was a 60's model, Safari or Tradewind, parked on the hillside along Highway 140 in Mid Pines.
We didn't see any in the park.

Airstream in Texas
On a recent trip to Texas,noticed 1 for sale,owner must not have had title,it was a 1964,pretty trashy inside,must have been gold plated,but I didn`t see it.

Camp Host @ Ken's Lake / Moab Utah
Janet and I were at Ken's Lake ( Google Map) for four days last week, and it turns out that the camp host is in an Airstream.

Lake Powell 2010-05-23
On our way home we stayed a night at the Wahweap RV Park at Lake Powell (near Page, AZ). As we pulled in we noticed there were quite a few Airstreams in the park. It turns out there were 34 of them in a cross country caravan from the east coast (the people I talked to were from New Jersey).

Wow what's the chances that you would just pull in to a site with that many Airstreams on caravan. I'd have a hard time not wanting to follow the pack.

I saw three streamers heading west on I-70 by Georgetown on Monday coming home from Breckenridge with our 28 Safari. There was a 20 ft Bambi at Tiger Run RV where we stayed in Breckenridge over the holiday weekend.

So disappointed I went an entire 6 day trip, which included lots of driving between several states, without seeing an AS on the road (after we left the dealership!).
This morning my son told me that he saw "an old, long one" during the few days we spent at Homestead Campground in PA. My legs were acting up so it was the first time I didn't take at least a stroll through the place I was staying! Dang!

I saw 2 on Thomas Drive on Panama City Beach I was working so I did not get a good look both were not new haha one was a blue stripe but thats all I saw hope ya'll have fun...SAM

Stargate Atlantis - "Vegas" Episode
Not sure if this counts, but I was getting caught up on some old shows on the DVR and came across this one. The bad guy in this one builds a communications lab in a vintage airstream. The preview has a couple of glimpses of it:
There are actually quite a few shots of the exterior during the show. Unfortunately, a couple of A-10's blow it up at the end of the episode. Hopefully it was all CGI special effects.
