Airstream Argosy Parts

Hi All! I am new here as my wife and I just purchased a 1975 Argosy trailer to camp in. The trailer itself has had a lot of work done on it, the interior is all custom - which we love! We are super excited to get on the road with our 1 year old.

However, before we do that, we are in the process of buttoning it up so to speak. There are some odds and ends I am looking for, and was curious if there are any go-to people, websites or companies to talk to about original or replacement Argosy parts?

We are already aware of the Airstream sites for some of the more basic odds and ends (ie. we are replacing part of the belly pan so we are getting that through the airstream parts suppliers). What I am trying to find are things like:

1. Replacement door latch (complete)
2. Original Argosy hubcaps (if there are any?)
3. Exterior rear break light panel molding - ours is cracking and would like to see if we can find a clean replacement unit

Plus it would just be nice to have a list of go-to places for original or reproduction parts

Granted my experience is more with cars of varying ages and that seems to be much easier to find than trailer parts lol!

Anyway if I missed the thread in my newbie searches that has this info, please forward me there.

Thank you!!

What is the story with the door latch?
Is it missing or malfunctioning?

There are three issues with the door latch.

1. The previous owner installed a deadbolt lock on the body panel where the bolt slides into the door. To get this to work, they hacked the lower portion of the latch section that is on the side of the door (where the actual latch is). It's hacky and not really clean so it bugs me.

2. The handle itself is loose and hangs out from the latch itself - while it operates, it is just a little wonky to grab and utilize.

3. We don't have a key to it - granted we can get it re-keyed, but given the other issues I thought it might make more sense to just replace it and then potentially rework the old one as a back up.

Beyond the door latch issue which may be resolved thanks to a forum member!

Are there any suggestions on resources for Argosy parts in general?

Mainly just miscellaneous exterior parts - trim parts etc. Plus just trying to figure out if there are resources (sites / shops etc.) that regularly have different parts. I tried looking on Ebay and it was pretty limited lol. If forum members here are the best way, that works too!
