Belly pan aluminum grade
Looking at cost of alum for a complete new pan on a 1963. Was going to use 5052-H32 .032. I noticed 3003H14 in .025 is substantually less money. All from aircraft spruce. I've used 5052 .032 in the past, works fine. Have seen some referance here for 3003. I was under the impression that 3003 was very soft, is 3003H14 the same? Anyone use it. If so how does it hold up.

Should anyone else have the same question. 3003H14 in .032 works fine. For a '63 28 ft 4X8 sheets were the answer. Easier to form the 4 corners, have quick future access panels to tanks and plumbing if necessary, neat job, little waste. 9 sheets $44@. Enough to also make 60ft C-channel.
