Make sure it won't etch the aluminum! I found that something as innocuous as Simple Green will turn aluminum hazy.
Paula
Oh yes and put some sunscreen on if you have to "remove clothing before using"!

Be sure to test in an inconspicuous area. So where would you not be conspicuous standing there naked, pouring this stuff on your clothes?

No wonder they tell you to "...keep away from children"! I wonder if that's Lorena Bobbitt used?

Paula, I using this up on the roof where the vents come thru. The PO has put about 3/4 silicon around them. I am cutting off as much as I can then use this to clean up.

I had pretty good luck with this stuff. I bought it at Ace. We should have a contest on the most silicone gooped on by PO's. I'd be in the running.

I don't know, I'm cutting off many laters of silicone off my 3 vent stacks, and almost an inch of it around the light over the door. The PO siliconed PVC caps over the three water vents on top because he didn't know about replacing the rubber seals on the pipes. Cutting the silicone and rebuilding the taillights are this weekend's projects.
