Groove around '73 Safari "Land Yacht"

I just completed painting the "Land Yacht" placard on our '73 Safari in Rust-Oleum Royal Blue. Cannot tell if there was red paint on the groove around "Land Yacht" or not. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Yep, that groove was originally red. I only have a bit of the original red left on my placards, so it is hard to tell what shade of red it was, but my guess is that it was a deep. almost brick red, rather than a brilliant cherry red.
