Been travelin', working and now modding the Safari out a bit.

Caulkin the areas that have shifted a bit.

Took off the pinstripes and lettering (except for the front Airstream logo)

In the process of sealing up the crappy HEHR windows for cooling, heat and sound issues

Replaced all the running lights with LEDs

Replaced the hitch jack light and plate light with LEDs

Sealed the POS plate light assembly

Next spring

4 new tires
2 new batteries
1 new converter (WFCO from best converter)
..and if I am feeling really frisky, replacing all (or most) the crappy HEHR windows at Jackson Center with the SE/CCD/Classic windows I asked for and was told no, 4 months before the came out with the SE. Rich L from Airstream Life had one done and it looked great...found myself sayin' me too...me too!

So, a bit more time for the forum, now and then, but for a while I was deep sixed w/ Mr. Bubble!

Well, been using DAP inside, ACRL-R outside (bought the dispenser and caulk when at Jackson Center a few years ago). HEHR windows look like this:

Airstream of Arkansas: RVs For Sale in Searcy, AR

* Thanks to Airstream of Arkansas for taking the pic

As you can see, these windows do not open fully as the Classic/CCD/SE units do. The bottom 1/4 opens (and on mine never sealed fully closed).

Thanks to Colonial Airstream in NJ. Looking at this pics from colonialairstream.com, you can see how these windows are different:

Colonial Airstream " Of New Jersey " Airstream New Inventory Updated Daily

Oh, yea, almost forgot, testing a non-incandecent fixture, as found in the Classics in the galley area. If good light, will buy 2 more and place them in areas where light is needed regularly, cause I boondock more than travel to places with electricity.

Had that joy and mine isn't even vintage.

Depends where the leak is, but in most cases a good caulk, once you find the source should work.

Rain drops keep fallin' on my head.......
