Rock Guard Attachment

Our "new" 89 Excella has this problem on both sides of the rear upper corners of my rock guards. It appears the billet aluminum has broken away and thus will not hold a bolt to secure the guard.

Also appears to be a galvanized steel bolt that was used. Steel and alum do not mix well, so should this be stainless?

Need "the "fix", please.

Yes, stainless. I systematically replace and regular steel fasteners with stainless/aluminum whenever I see them.

Where might I find new billet pieces and proper rivets for attachment?

Try Vintage Trailer Supply or Inland...Or any AS dealer. That piece is still used today.
