Will Centramatics fit on these OEM 15-inch wheels?

(Moose Tags, hope it's OK; I cut and pasted this photo of your wheel.)

I have a 19-foot Bambi with these wheels. Does anyone have the same setup, with Centramatics installed (i.e., will Centramatics work OK with these wheels)?

They have a listing on the web of what wheels they will fit. You can also call the company and they will walk you through the process.

They will fit, I've installed them on those exact wheels.

Yes to your question!... I notice in your picture way to many too many lead counter weights on your rim! My guess is a bad tire or wheel is out of balance...!

We have Centramatics on our 2002 19' Bambi. Our aluminum wheels are a different style, but I don't think there would be any problem with your wheels.

We have our tires/wheels balanced off the trailer and let the Centramatics take care of any remaining balance problems from the hubs and wheels.

Thanks for the quick responses. By the way, that wheel (and photo) belongs to Moose Tags. I hadn't noticed the weights before...

I guess I am blind. I don't see any weights in that picture.
Where are they?

You can use any of my pictures, anytime.

The balancing weights were put on when we got new tires in Arizona a couple of years ago. When we ordered our Centramatics for Lucy's new 16" wheels, it showed they were fore 15" wheels, but they are also for the 16" according to Centranatics.

Lucy only has about 1,200 miles since the Cebtramatics. We will report as the miloeage goes up.

There are at least five weights at 7 o'clock.

The rims on our 2006 30' Classic appear to be of the type shown in your picture, and Centramatics fit on them.

I have recently read on another link about Dexter Nev-R-Lube Bearing Information that indicates issues with non-zero offset wheels--- resulting in their bearing to fail. Not knowing much about the centramatics, it would seem that their incorporation would result in offset. For those of you that have centramatics, have you noticed any change in wear behavior on your bearings or have you had any unexpected bearing failures?

I would also be interested in how much offset results.

Hi, I don't know the exact measurement, but I don't think a piece of sheet metal of .030" or less would effect anything offset wise.

I thought they were thicker but if that is all they contribute---- shouldn't be a worry

Hi,

Does anyone know what model number centramatic is used for this application? I think I read somewhere that it takes a special model for the airsteams. I am considering them for my 2008- 25 foot Safari. Thanks,

Mike

At our request, Centramatic created the special model for us.

I purchased a set from them for our 2007 Safari 25'FB and their item # on the invoice was 200221Special, AJP-10". The only problem I had was I had to enlarge the holes a little as the unit was hanging up on the threads of the wheel studs and would not slid on without enlarging the stud holes. When you call them give them your trailer's information and they should set you up with the right model.
