Is this a good replacement wheel?

Is this trailer wheel offered on eBay an appropriate replacement for the old original wheels on our '66 Safari -- single axle?

You may want to check your lug pattern on your trailer. The original axle was 5 lug on 5" center or 5on5 when you ask for one at the trailer supply store. This is a 6 lug rim in the auction.

That wheel should be OK.

It has the proper bolt pattern, 6 on 5 1/2 as well as the proper weight rating.

6 on 5 1/2 and 5 on 4 1/2 are USA standard lug patterns.

I have a 63 Safari and it uses 6 lug wheels with 12" brakes!
The wheels look good and have a good weight rating! IMHO

You should verify that the offset is zero. I do not see any mention of it in the ad.

Thanks everyone! I'll check the offset before I buy anything.

Ditto,

At fellow member UWE's advice I put 4 of these rims on my 1972 27' International in 2006, they have performed very well, I have taken them on multiple cross country trips.

I put those same rims on my 65 Safari 1.5 years ago. No problems and they look great.
