Show him a link at tirerack.com. That's where I got mine.

What do y'all think?
Options:
1. Buy 15" Michelin MS/2 in the town where we are camping
2. Try to find 16" zero offset wheels and Michelin LT tires in this town
3. Put on the spare, go home, and order tires/wheels off the internet

You failed to provide the actual tire size you are thinking about.
Some Michelin MS/2 are LT type and some are Passenger type.
If you use a Passenger type tire on a truck, SUV or trailer you need to de-rate the stated load capacity by dividing by 1.10.

So a stated load capacity of say 1,950# on a Passenger tire would actually be 1,772#

Hmm...
Actually thinking of LT225/75R15 if such a thing exists-
Or new wheels (Sendel) and LT225/75R16 tires(Firestone TransForce HT from work- $165 each)

For cheapest, that last option looks best.

Based on the premise that in another 5 years you will be again looking to replace tires and that 15” LT tires will be hard to find, I’d suggest that you bite the bullet and move to 16” rims and LT tires (load range E). If you calculate in the risk factor of the cost of a blowout (ask me how I know), then the choice becomes obvious.

One thing you may need to do/have done with the change to 16” rims is to have the spare tire carrier modified to handle the larger tire.

I agree.
If I find 15" LT tires now, I can buy the Sendel wheels in 5 years.
We'll see.
5 years beats 3-4.

Not gonna change the spare-
Gonna leave the 15" spare-
Or if I change the spare, it will be a steel wheel.

Still undecided on Dill TPMS-
Still undecided on Centramatic balancers-
Didn't get McGard lug nuts- got a different brand from Amazon- $19.99 for 24- may not be as good as McGard, but will be better than OE-
Ordered Trailer Aid ramp from Amazon- my oil change ramps from Advance are not heavy duty enough- bow, bend, crack under the weight of the Airstream-
Enough stuff is ordered and on the way for me to install 16" wheels, Load range E 10-ply LT tires, and new lug nuts. I need to decide on Dill TPMS before tires are mounted. If I make up my mind after tires are mounted, I may choose a brand with sensors that screw on to the valve stems. If I don't get Centramatic balancers now, it won't be a big deal to install them later when I rotate the tires.

My experience with Tire Minders (which screw onto the valve stem) was that for the first year they were OK. Once the batteries needed changing they became unreliable and I was constantly fiddling with them. They did not go off when I had a blowout.

I got the Dill TPMS system, and you are assured of 5 years before you need to change the sensors. They can be ordered from Dill or a number of vendors - I saw that they were being sold & installed at Costco here in Canada.

Get the 16" spare. You don't want to have a flat and use a spare that is older than 5 years, that's like having no spare. A steel rim is fine for the spare, although I went whole hog and changed all mine for Sendels, even the spare.
