Need advice on backup camera for hitching.

What would you recommend as an inexpensive backup camera for hitching the trailer?

I really like my Swift Hitch. The only negative is that when moving from one side of the hitch to the other, in order to lock the pro pride cams, I've knocked the camera off the tail gate with my shoulder. I keep forgetting to take it off once I've got the stinger in the head.

This one gets good reviews if you want a permanent installation.
I did a lot of research of them last fall. My wife wanted one on the Sequoia but with the tag mounted on the hatch instead of bumper the installation was going be a lot of work so I passed. I may get one for my truck for father's day, but after 5 years of hooking up the Airstream I usually only need to get out and check once before getting under the hitch.(a small piece of tape on the inside of my tailgate right in the center of the truck is my trick).

I tried the Peerless but the picture kept breaking up. I got one from Costco for around the same price called Yada and it works great! The camera is on my trucks rear license plate.

If you are strictly looking for assistance in getting the ball positioned beneath the coupler (insert gag line here) then hitching sticks are really helpful. I've contemplated a camera but every time I use these I talk myself back out of it. They really do work well.

I got a camera installed at a car stereo store. It is to the left of the tailgate handle as the factory one would be. The monitor is an Alpine double DIN 7" touch screen CD/DVD/AM/FM/SiriusXM/iPod/navigation head unit. There are also monitors integrated into the rear view mirror.

This requires absolutely no installation since you only need to use it to hitch up the trailer. EVEN BETTER....you can attach the camera to the rear bumper of your AS to help you back in to camp sites. This gadget is totally idiot proof and requires no skill to use it.

You probably don't want to hear this, but this is a forum afterall. Save your money; one has to wonder just how many more gadgets do we need?

...I'm old school and take a lot of pride in just "backin' her up" centered on the tailgate, check her one time (maybe 5), a slight adjustment or two and you're good. There is something to be said about do it yourself.

If all else fails, yell for help.

I use the yellow tennis ball looking things on what looks like radio antennas.
