Recommendations...

Would you tow a 1972 25' Land Yacht with a 2003 F250 v10 4X4 with a 6 speed manual transmission? I need a newer TV...and I am just wondering if a manual transmission is a wise idea. Thanks for your input!

That truck should easily pull any Airstream ever built. The manual six speed transmission would just be a little more work for the driver, IMHO.

Thanks - that's kinda what I thought....a work-out for my left leg....not that that's a bad thing.

Yes. And for sure if that's what I already had.

Once your moving, there's no difference with the manual. That truck is made to tow. You'll probably get better fuel economy with a stick too. Although I'm pretty sure that V10 is going to drink a lot of fuel.

Replacing it would depend more on your use of the TV. My truck is also my daily driver.
If all you're going to do with the truck is tow the airstream, and you're not a full-timer, I'd spend your money elsewhere.

Great to hear! Thanks! I won't be doing much every-day driving with it. Some, but not commuting or anything. I have a motorcycle for that. LOL
