It was only 15 degrees this AM here in the Denver area, but bicycling Sunday and Monday for sure.

Snow everywhere, the trees were beautiful.

It's 76 degrees and sunny. Servicing the TV and the Avion for Springstream and painting bee hives.

I don't know about down in your area, but up here in Longmont, all our snow fell on the last day of winter. All this stuff on the ground is just left over winter snow. What a beautiful totally cloud free sky. I think I will do what I do with leaves and get out the leaf blower and blow all the snow into the neighbor's yard.
Happy spring to all.

regards,

Ken

We had 9 1/4 inches in two storms yesterday here in western Colorado.

What's the matter Lynn, too much or too little snow? I suspect it's too much.

Your snow looks beautiful! It is 60 degrees here in Olympia, WA. We have the darling in the drive way. We have been cleaning inside and prepping for painting outside. Moving quickly before it rains again!

Only "Springtime in the Rockies" remains . . .

Excellent point, Ken. Looking on the bright (perhaps snow-blind ) side of things, this morning I've just shoveled the last of that nasty winter snow. The only flaky things remaining to visit us during the next few months are those that will drop in when "Springtime in the Rockies" visits us, as it will. Ya knows its a-coming, and ya knows it favors free outdoor weekends to obligated indoor weeks days. That's just the way it is. Maybe I'll go stand in my backyard snow and see how much I can sunburn the underside of my chin. Happy Spring to All!

All our snow here in Mid Michigan was gone and it was 50 degrees yesterday but today it is snowing again. Thank goodness it's not sticking. As WeeWind says, it was nice all week, then came our weekend, how does it do that?

Was 60's all last week. Snow came last night and snowed all day but none of it stuck, just an inch or two and about 30 degrees now. Supposed to be back up to 60 by Wednesday. Par for the course - Chicago. Come on spring!

Happy Spring!

I doubt that it is the last of this sort of thing for you though. I can remember getting 5 inches of snow on my birthday, May 3, when I lived in Dalhart, TX. Of course, Dalhart is 150 miles closer to Palmer Lake, CO than it is to Dallas.

The warm weather will be there soon.

Your picture sure looks pretty, but I hope for your sake that it melts soon. We got a bit of the white stuff here this week too, and there is still a lot in piles in the shady areas (like our whole front lawn). Today it was sunny and above freezing. Yippee! There is an end in sight. Happy camping!

The ground was warm enough during this last storm that I didn't even bother to get out the snow blower. It was all melted off the sidewalks and driveways by mid-morning yesterday.

This particular snow was wet enough that it will really boost the growth of spring plants just peeking out of the ground. One thing about Colorado snow in the lower altitudes is that you just need to wait a few hours and the good old sunshine will be back out.....I love living here

We got just under a foot of the white stuff here, and it was cold. Not terribly difficult to move, but the snow was compacted, thanks to the winds that came with the storm. I guess the worst part was this morning: It was -13F just before sunrise. We expect that kind of thing (and worse) regularly during mid-winter, but not in late March.

Or...the underside of some other parts that haven't seen the light of day!

I didn't need that visual.

Channel 7 says it is going to snow again Thursday.

If it does, I am not going to acknowledge it.

Ken
