This 1957 26' Custom is safely back on the road after many years of service as a lawn ornament.

Here goes - I am sure they have been posted before. But for all you newbies - don't get discouraged a vintage unit is always a work in progress - even when you think you are done - something either breaks or is not quite finished to perfection.

We have a long way to go on our Globe Trotter - but never loose sight of why you got into it.

Why just this morning I had a fleeting moment and thought of selling all three of our projects and buy a newer Airstream with less work - and ready to go camping - without thinking of what has to be done to make it work

We are hoping to get to the exterior next Spring - goal is a hard strip and polish. Running gear is all done - all new!

So when she is said and done - what should we list her for???

Shari the inside of yours look great. This is probably a dumb question, but what is your fan sitting on?

The heater cabinet. The front portion is our heater and there is a cabinet behind it with a countertop.
BTW Dawn, there's no such thing as a dumb question on the forums ~
