Twin Mattress source

i need to get a couple mattresses for our 34 rear twin.
thought about of buying a foam mattress and curve one side myself, but not sure , how comfortable the foam mattress might be?
The problem is, that my wife has severe arthritis and needs a decent bed.
any sources for something good or suggestion, that won’t brake the bank?

thanks

I recently bought, cut to fit and installed this mattress,

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o02_s00

I would describe it as medium firm and very comfortable. I have slept about 20 nights, lots of power naps on it. I also have arthritis in my shoulder and a bad back. I wake feeling much better than the old mattress for sure. It is very supportive and cool to sleep on.

Try to get somewhere local....the cost of shipping is nearly the same as the actual mattress cost. I had a pair of twins made by a local company (The Mattress Maker of New England) after having sat/laid (our twins are a convertible dinette) on numerous different foam/spring/topper combinations, for around $500 for the pair. I am sure you will make an equivalent company near to you.

We sleep on Tempurpedics at home, so when we bought our 27' FC front bedroom twin in 2011, we bought 4" twin toppers from Tempurpedic and cut them to size to sit on top of the factory supplied mattresses. We have been sleeping comfortably every trailer night since. The existing fitted sheets are a bit of a stretch over both the mattress and the topper, but it works. You can find cheaper memory foam, but given our excellent experience with Tempurpedic, we didn't want to take a chance, as we had less than good results with other memory foam toppers.
