The answer to your question can vary, but some of the items that may be of interest to owners doing more of a restoration than renovation might include?
- Refrigerator if original and in operating condition could be valued by a restorer -- and even if not currently working -- if it is exceptionally clean and corrossion free it still may be of interest to a restorer.
- Cooktop -- if free of excessive corrossion and with operational burners, another item that may have interest to a restorer.
- Oven -- guessing that the coach may have a "wall overn" if this unit is clean and operational, it may be of interest to a restorer.
- Tambours -- the segmented wood/acrylic roll-up doors on the upper and some lower cabinets can be of interest to restorers as some of the materials used in the 1970s are no longer available in new tambours. Also, the guides and "rollers" that the tambours live in within the cabinets are also sought out by restorers particularly when they are in good condition.
- Cabinet Doors and/or Cabinet Door Latches -- cam be of interst to restorers as not all are readily available as reproductions. Cabinets that are carefully removed and in good condition "may" have some value to a restorer as well.
- Kitchen and Bathroom sinks may have some value to a restorer as long as the finish is in good condition.
- Original Roof Vents -- if original roof vents are removed to install moder vents such as Fantastic Fans, the original roof vents may have value to a restorer.
- Hammock Bunks -- if your coach still has factory bunks that fit into fixtures above the main bed(s) in the center of the coach, these definitely would have value to a restorer.
- Original Light Fixtures -- if in good operating condition with good shades, would likely have some value to a restorer.
- Removeable Bins -- found in some cupboards, if in good condition, may have value to a restorer.
- Optional Items such as magazine racks or spice racks often have value to restorers.
- Bathtub unit -- this is more of a longshot as it would be difficult to ship -- may have value to someone doing a restoration, but condition would certainly be a critical factor.
- OEM stereo unit -- the original factory stereo unit may be of value to a restorer as well.
You might be surprised what someone working on restoration as compared to a renovation may be interested in purchasing to complete their restoration. Many small, unique parts are difficult, if not impossible to find outside of being located from a donor coach that is undergoing a complete renovation.
Good luck with your investigation!
