How to remove plastic cabinet locking devices

Need to know the best way t remote the plastic locking devise from cabinet doors and cabinet frame. When screws are removed the plastic latch is stuck to the laminate. wha can I safely use to free them without damaging the laminate.

Try a very thin, flexible putty knife to gently get under the edge and slide under the plastic latch part.
