Gaucho, Couch, or Recliners?
I just looked at some 2012 Classic pictures of the new gaucho style seats in the FB units and I am not a fan. They appear to be becoming even less practical for sleeping in those models than in the larger or older Classic models. Even the twin beds appear shortened. I do prefer my couch in the 2004 to the cushions style in the 2007. I think the couch is much more comfortable for seating or sleeping and nicely convertable.

While the side dinettes are made by design to be flat and stationary when converted.
(Sorry for the number of posts but I seem to only be able to link one picture per post and upload none since exceeding my picture limit for a free account.)

The new ultra leather couches also have a nice appearance. That would be my preference over recliners for a small travel trailer.

carol, sometimes the camera lens can distort the actual size (bed). the actual specs for the bed should be listed somewhere. one issue i have with my ultraleather gaucho is that even at my 6' height my heels barely hit the floor when sitting. it does make getting up easier though :-)

I agree. I much prefer the old folding couch. I wish the would offer the old style couch in some of the 25 & 27 models.

After seeing the newer models, we were saddened about the "Cheap" look and so happy to have our '04 Classic couch. It's a very comfy sleep, especially for taller guests.

Gaucho?
I just slept on my Gaucho for the first time last night (guest has the bed). It is a truly uncomfortable sleep for me. I'll not lay it out again, but will sleep tonight in normal 'couch' position. I know I, for one, will be looking for an upgrade for my '99.
