I am reposting updated version(s) of my proposed floorplan for my 72 Tradewind.
My floor is out and the work on the frame is about to begin. I need the floor plan nailed down so I can order and install grey and black water tanks. Any input and suggestions as well as answers to a couple questions below would be greatly appreciated

1. I bought my 72 gutted and would like to know the plywood width of the bulkheads (walls) 5/8"? 3/4"?
2. Floor plan A (no closet)
3. Floor plan B (closet) I like this layout the best b/c it gives me a larger galley area and a large closet. The only problem is I am putting the closet in front of a window. I hate to do that but I really don't see a problem with it. Thoughts?
4. Floor plan C (small closet) This would be my second choice. It reduces the galley and what to do with the area between the closet and bed? desk w/ drawers? all drawers?

The bulkheads in our '71 Tradewind were 1/4" laminate faced masonite. We've replaced them all with 1/4" birch ply, which is stronger, more water resistant and looks better.

Any chance you could swap your closet and your shower in layout B? That would give you natural light in both the toilet and shower area.

Thanks web spinner, I did draft up the roadside shower layout as well. The one thing i didnt like was it seemed to narrow the entrance to the bed area. I may be able to go smaller with shower size to alter that though. I'm 6 ft tal and not sure what a comfortable shower size is. I'll post that layout.

How does this look? Do the dimensions seem comfortable enough for the toilet and the shower?

I see what you mean. We rebuilt our rear bathroom from scratch and actually widened the curbside bulkhead to make a shower that reached the higher part of the ceiling. We shortened the other bulkhead, but the bathroom door still ended up smaller than in the original layout.

Could you turn the toilet fully sideways (facing fore or aft) and get a bit more hallway room there? A closet instead of a shower adjacent to the kitchen would also give more kitchen floor space.
