Window lift lever gaskets in '69 Sovereign

Hi all!
We tore into the AS in a big way, this weekend. There's a lot of cleaning to do... and in the process, we noted what looks like contact cement or some form of yellow glue along with what appears to be remnants of some kind of foam gasket around the window lift levers... on the inside skin. None of the windows have anything more than that on their respective lift levers, so I don't have a clue what was there. Anyone have pics or suggestions on where I can find these?
BTW - I watched the restoration of that 1970 AS on DIY Classic Rides... the lifting mechanism is different on the '70. Mine has metal rests and the '70 has plastic ones. I didn't get any info on these seals/gaskets from that video.

These were most likely a fuzzy hair-like material, designed to impede airflow and keep mosquitoes out.

They suggest hot glue to attach it; I've seen this fail in the desert, so I'd use weatherstrip adhesive instead.
