The fan microswitch on my 93 Excella ceiling vent went south. Is there a way to fix.repair it without disassembly? (If I have to disassemble I would rather replace it with a new unit)

Just went to the shop and looked at the fan I replaced last week with a MaxxAir. The switch is held on with 2 screws, and it is easily replaceable, but has to be done from the top. Easier to do with the cover removed I think, as the switch is mounted at the end of the bottom raising shaft. Chris

If I replace the fan I would use a MaxxAir. Don't like the oem fan that much. Only one speed and only exhaust. The big plastic lens seems to me it must block flow. The only loss would be the ceiling light itself. Did you do anything to replace the light(s)? Thanks

I bought the LED lights that go around the interior housing. Got them from Camping World, and have in both the front and the bedroom. Really like them and am looking for a dimmer that will work with the LED's. If I was doing it again, I would get the warm white LED's so as not so bright. They are on sale for $26.99 now. Better price than what I paid!! Chris
