Window weather strip adhesive?

The rear window on my 84 excella needs new weather stripping. I ordered it online from inlandrv.com but didn't find an adhesive to use on there. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Mineral spirits works pretty good for me. I'll use a razor blade, steel wool and even a wire wheel on a drill if the glue is really stubborn.

Sorry, but our girls should have told you to use 3M 8008 which we have.

Thanks for the reply Mike. That all does work great for removing the old weather stripping. What I'm looking for is a good adhesive for the new weather stripping to stay on with. Any suggestions?

The very best adhesive is 3M8008, and it's black as well.
