Question Window Operating Flat Bars

1974 Excella 500
We have Flat Bar Levers to open and close the windows.
Corroded and dirty need to clean.
Some are missing the Pivot Pins and the "T" Handles.
Anyone have any ideas on where to get the parts or how to repair them?
Ho is best way to clean them?
Thanks!
Greg

Try 000 steel wool for cleaning:

InlandRV might have the parts you need.

Your local Airstream dealer will have the knobs for the actuator levers. They will be plastic rather than chromed pot metal. The good news is they won't rust. I got some direct from the factory, they cost a whopping $3 each.
And after you take out the actuator levers to clean them, a quick coat of silver paint will help keep them looking good longer.

Unfortunately, the knobs have not been available for years.

Painting the arms, after they are cleaned and primer painted, is the way to prevent further damage to them.

Thanks for the info, I will do this to all of my levers. Still need to find the "Pivot Pin" parts
Thanks!

Do you have the Pivot Pin part for the levers?
Thanks!
