Front windows on 2000 Excella

are the dark tinted windows on the front of these trailers a rock guard like on my 71 or is that the actual windows that you see while in tow?

Without seeing a picture, this is just information based upon experience.
I, personally have never seen front windows that were installed "dark tinted". So, having said that..I'd assume these windows you are referring to be the "rock guard" protectors installed over the front windows. If you find out otherwise, let us know.

Talking Oh say can you see....

If you can see the window frames they are dark tint, if it is one continuous dark piece it is the rock protector. But on the later models the rock protector is segmented, so you will see frame sections too....I have seen dark tinted windows, but they were not factory install. Check out the picture in my Photo Album mine has the one piece dark tint rock sheild.
