Call the factory and razz them!!!!!!!

Then tell us!!!

I've got to admit I went to the parking lot and the first thing I looked at on my 25 FB was the outside bedroom windows. Don't have your unique ornamental windows. Are you the first owner? if not, someone may have somehow gotten a hole punched thru the outer skin, then put in matching windows on either side rather than have it asymetrical.

I've seen furnace vents installed to cover up a booboo on the side panel.

Odd, odd, odd!

Paula

Paula, this reminds me that I've got to look for weird cutouts on my belly pan.

A 2013 project will be to put Minnesota & Texas outlines on the street- and curbside sides of my propane tank covers to make up for abrasion that has gotten bad over the years.

Did you ever figure out what happened? I want to add a vista view to the road side on my 2012 25FB. I wasn't sure if it was possible, but it looks like it is 50% possible...

I am sure if the trailer were taken back to Jackson Center, the Vista Views could be retrofitted. Of course the credit card might melt.....

Our new custom specification 27FB Classic twin bed trailer we ordered will be built on the date we requested starting 9 January and completed 15 January. I will be allowed to photo the gestation of our unit from bare frame to out the door.

The factory tour I had in October 2012 (while enroute to CanAm to get the hitch re-inforced on my car) did not really allow me enough time to see all that I wanted to see and we did not get to all areas of the production facility. They have a huge programable flat table cutting machine that precuts the openings on the longest side and roof panels so they are the same every time.

I did see both the 16" tires and wheels for sale in the hallway as one walked into the Airstream retail store as well as the electric/hydraulic disk brake conversion kit.

Yes, I am scared of finding out the cost. If I delay asking I can keep the dream alive longer...

Funny thing is there are no matching openings on the inside of the bedroom. It's like at shift change, the new crew forgot to cut openings on the inside.
I did find out that this Airstream was the first one manufactured on this series in 2009 model year.
Has anyone an explanation for this??
Are you related to my wife? We have determined that I can hide her Christmas presents in plain sight on the coffee table in the living room and she'll never find them.
