Where Can I Buy This Mounting Bar??
Just found a picture in an article on Airstream.com regarding winter care of LCD tvs. The metal bar shown would be perfect for my situation. It would allow me to mount my bracket without removing my fridge! Anyone know the source?

Just called Airstream parts dept and they are not familiar with this item. Sent them the link and they said they would ask around. Very nice person on the phone!

I don't know about this exact mount, but there are pole mounts that might work for you. Here's a provider that sells several types. Good luck.

I'd like to see the rear of that as I'm looking for a mount that will help me with my 32" LCD mounting to my EazyUP 10x10 demo day tent.

As for the pole and it's mounting hardware you should be able to buy those materials at and Big Box Store. It is just 11/2 in. Al. tubing and end hardware.

That same photo was posted here on AirForum by member "red" on 02/16/09. He said that he fabricated it himself. Not sure how to attach his link to this message but sure you can use the search function to find it.

YES that's home fabricated.

looks like an early/mid 90s trailer with oak interior.

it was made to provide firm support using the credenza top (below) and the overhead locker (above)...

this would work fine in the classics/excella models with that configuration but not much else.

Unless your EazyUP is a lot sturdier than mine, I am not sure that I would want to do that.

My EZ UP frame is pretty stout, not one of the light weight models. I'm sure I'll find a solution just wanted to see what he had behind it. If it was bolted to the upright I think I'd trust it better than a welded right angle with the monitor out on a reach.

Hi Glen,

I'm not talking about the light weight copies, I have a real EZ UP. I still have one gimpy leg from wind damage at an art show in Charlotte a few years ago, but just haven't gotten a replacement yet. I have to agree about not wanting something out on a reach. Leverage would just make the situation worse. I would feel better about having something solid to the ground for the display screen rather than attaching to the canopy which is subject to movement from the wind and anyone bumping the EZ UP frame on any leg, including those in front where the crowds enter.

By having a mount that sits on the ground, you could keep it behind your table and only have to worry about you bumping into it. Whatever you use could also serve as storage too. You might consider making a box to store the screen that also serves as the base. With a pair of wheels mounted to the back it would ease setup and tear down.

I generally don't even put my tent up on a windy day. Though I don't use side panels like some do in craft/art show setups they can be sails. I also can anchor mine in the grass with anchors that I angle differently on each corner.
I'm trying to keep weight down in the back of the bus so really don't want another box to have to lift but your idea makes sense if I could figure out storage and setup for the monitor/TV. I've got a big tripod that we used at the last two shows but it is less than great for outdoors and would likely fly first in any wind.
