Polk Audio
It looks like the Polk Audio system that is installed in our 2016 Pendleton is not connected to the Samsung Blue Ray/Television system . Does anyone know, first, if this is the normal configuration and, if so, is there an easy way to feed the Blue Ray signal into the Aux channel on the Polk so we can utilize the superior sound of the Polk speakers rather than the anemic TV speakers? I assume this is the same condition in the Classic model Airstreams that also have the Polk system but would love to know if this is the standard configuration.

I know nothing about your hardware. Since no replies as of yet, while at the risk of wasting your time, what inputs besides an aux channel are present on the Polk controller? Is it Bluetooth capable or can it play streaming audio sources? Can the blu ray player output the surround signal to your Polk system wirelessly (stream it)?

The 15 Classic already has an audio cable running from the TV audio output to the Polk AUX input. The AUX input is accessible by removing the wooden shelf holding the DVD player. If I recall you'll need a stereo RCA cable between the TV and AUX input.

This past fall I traded up to a 2015 28' International. The AV system was wired incorrectly from the factory.
If yours is like mine, the blu ray player sits on a small "shelf" that is screwed into the overhead. I removed 4 screws plus or minus. Under this shelf is a splitter that connects the stereo to the blu ray, and the blu ray to the TVs. The HDMIs that were in this area were all there and properly labeled. However they were connect wrong.
You might give this a look.

Does the blu ray player have an on screen menu that lets you configure/define it's output so that it suits the equipment and connection types you have in place with the Polk system? Dont be afraid to Polk around with the settings. (sorry about that.)

keep in mind you wont have dolby digital or dts surround sound if rca or aux input cabling is your connection type. But at least you get stereo sound through your Polk speakers.

Thank you. I will take a look but I do know there are no RCA cables currently routed to the TV, just the HDMI so some more detailed reading of the manuals (blue ray, HDMI splitter, and Polk) is warranted.
I appreciate the quick feedback on my question. What a great AS community.

Does Polk Audio have Bluetooth? If so try that. Our Clarion system has Bluetooth and connects to the Samsung television and has great sound.

Yes, bluetooth capable which is how the system is controlled remotely through a smartphone app. I will take a look at that as well. Thanks.

Polk Ultramarine
Wow!!! Cool- A separate Polk thread. I had mentioned on the Pendleton thread that the Sirius/XM radio receiver is included, and the antenna is mounted on the roof (near the rear). You can see the kit at either the Sirius website or just look it up on Amazon, (SiriusXM SXV300v1 Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit for Satellite Radio by SiriusXM). I actually bought the kit and had it with me 2 weeks ago, while touring the factory and documenting our Pendleton, #62, being built over 4 days. Oddly enough, it took a couple of days to get to an answer. I suspect that they use components supplied from Polk's distributor, as the antenna that I saw from a distance had a grey case and those that I'm familiar with from Sirius have black cases.
See the owners for additional information:

I found out that our unit is now about a week behind due to a backorder on laminate. Bummer. Hope it arrives here in TX by Friday so it can be prepped and delivered by Mon./Tues.
I'm also wondering how audio from the DVD player is input to the main power unit. It doesn't seem as though that option can be accessed from the Ultramarine App. Do download this onto your smartphone and/or your tablet to have a remote to control most functions at your fingertips.
Being a tech nut, I'm interested as to how to get TV audio to play through the Polk system vs. the less than fantastic audio on the flat screens. Any tips out there?

Did you ever get an answer or figure out how to get the TV audio to play through the Polk system?

Answer may have been addressed earlier but many adaptive devices out there such as this for example.
If TV has a higher quality SPDIF or TOSLiNK audio output with full audio frequency range or high impedance RCA stereo outputs (best if volume controlled by remote) then to this device to send wirelessly as bluetoooth signal to the head unit.
