Can I view DVDs on our 2nd TV wirelessly ?

Good day!

Our 23D has a TV up front with an HDMI connection to the DVD player in the front overhead bin. The 'wiring' to the bedroom area consists of ONLY a coax connection and - of course - a 120 volt outlet.

I'm hoping that someone has 'real world' experience in wirelessly 'transmitting' from their DVD player to a 2nd TV.

Running a HDMI cable to the 2nd TV is out of the question, so wireless would seem the way to go.

I searched but came up empty. Also the things I found on the internet were not particularly helpful.

Thanks,

Rob

Might be easier to replace the TV with one that has a built in DVD. I have the Insignia 28" with DVD purchased from Best Buy last year, but they are now discontinued.

Amazon has some other brands, e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-1080P...6379363&sr=1-2

Of course you don't get good sound from the TV speakers. We added a Bluetooth speaker on ours and we also purchased a BT transmitter which allows connection of two BT earphone/earbuds. We like to use the BT earbuds when watching movies when the A/C is running.

There are wired HDMI to Coax available but they seemed to be more expensive than a new TV. https://www.amazon.com/single-75ohm-.../dp/B00HWIWEMU

Not sure if they would work in the Airstream. What ever you do, keep it simple.

I just bought a small DVD player and mounted it on the wall behind the 2nd TV.

if it is a Smart tv there would be a way but having one at home and the problems that are inherit I would mount a DVD player close to the 2nd tv.

Mine in the trailer is screwed under a upper cabinet.

You can use one of these wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver packages but you will have to get into cabinet to reconnect some of the wires per the diagram that comes in the manual - https://www.actiontec.com/324.html

I have used this in a house and it works just fine. You can find on Amazon or Best Buy for about $200.

I would check the documentation that came with your AS. Mine is only a year newer and all I have to do is change inputs with the remotes and the DVD will show on both TV's. The sound plays through the Audio System also.
