Help with schematic

Help me understand this schematic. The inverter is hooked up to the battery all the time. So I guess when the camper is plugged in it will bypass the inverter? If the inverter is turned on by the remote switch while the camper is plugged in will it zap it? Or does the transfer switch keep it off the grid. Thanks for reply.Click image for larger version

I'll take a crack at it.....
I dont understand the modifications, so I'll start with the original wiring. When shore power is connected the transfer relay is energized and shore power is routed to the distribution panel. When there is no shore power the relay is not energized and the distribution panel is connected to the output of the "silent generator" (inverter). If AC power is desired the inverter is turned on with the remote control switch which is wired to it.

Here is where I get confused. The switch labelled "turns silent generator on/off" looks like it breaks the neutral to the relay coil. If that happens, the distribution panel will always be connected to the output of the inverter, even when shore power is present. I don't know why anyone would want to do that. The other two switches seem to break the connection to the univolt, but either one of them would do the trick, and the relay does that for you when shore power is not available.

Without understanding the logic behind the mods, i'd recommend removing them and returning the wiring to stock. If the switches were put in because the relay failed, i'd get a replacement relay.
