Battery Disconnect Switch

Just returned from a weeklong trip. Now the Battery Disconnect Switch will not come on unless connected to shore power.

Any thoughts? Bad Switch?

not sure I understand. the lights, etc. work on 12 volts when connected. but do not work when not connected? On my 88 model the battery switch cuts the 12 volt system off whether it is plugged in to shore power or on battery.

Are your batteries dead?

The "use/store" switch light should be red (on) in either position when you are plugged into shore power. It should only go out when you are on battery power only and you switch it to "store"...at that point none of your 12v lights or systems will not work... If you are on battery power, and the over head lights and other 12v systems work, you are not disconnected from the battery...so I'd investigate the switch itself...
