I agree with Ed, but before that you might disconnect the 12v from the battery, and use use a wire wheel on a drill and clean off those terminals covered in zolatone and clean them, I bet the problem is there or closer to the battery. Were you testing each terminal on that little breaker with the ground probe back to the skin or to the battery itself? If the ground is bad to the trailer from the battery that would still not register 12v since a circuit is not complete. If you are using a volt meter, put it on continuity and test across the terminals and see that way. I think you are close to solving the problem, but do as Ed did and check at one of the lights too...

Can you post a picture of the two "terminals " coming out of the wall ,not sure what you are describing but it sounds like it could be circuit breakers. I still think you most likely have a ground problem; as a start I would run a new ground wire. Make sure it is firmly attached to clean bare metal. The originals are just attached with rivet and they can be loose and not look it. There are two 12V circuits in your trailer and it just seems unlikely they are both bad.

ok running a new ground wire is an obvious and intreresting suggestion. Certainly I had not thought of that before! Thanks! Could I run that ground wire directly off the battery neg terminal? I'll take the "terminal" pics today. Again thanks

Sure can. Make it a clean connection and can be temporary until you get the issue resolved. If indeed you find it is the ground connection that at fault, you can run a more permanent one and do it right. Right now, you're just trying to isolate the problem.

Yessssss! 12v is operating!!!!! Took a new ground wire off the neg side of the battery and touched it to the skin for 2 seconds, got a great spark and all of a sudden heard the fan inside go on and a couple of lights shined bright.Beautiful! Another beautiful thing was that hum that all of you talk about. Yes it's my water regulator switching on for the first time! I'm sure it can get annoying as everyone reports but right now there is not a sweeter sound to my ears. The system has been down for over 33 years and just needed a kick in the butt. Took the temp grnd wire off and now everything is running like normal, including water pressure! Thanks to you all for your time, patience and great advise> All systems are GO! Now I'm just going to sit in my AS and figure some little things out but be smiling all the while I do!

I don't think your question about the little light on top of the breaker panel got answered so here it is. The little light would come on when and if you hook up to shore power and the polarity of the shore power plug was reversed. If it came on, you were to go out and unplug your shore power cord and turn it over and plug in again. Remember, these were two prong plugs long before they made one of the blades just a little bit taller than the other that would prevent you from plugging them in incorrectly. My, how times have changed.
